Cadets Go Marching Three by....

Three Goole Air Cadets have recently completed the 2 day Cosford road march at RAF Cosford. The cadets made up part of the South and West Yorkshire Wing team, how completed the 40km march over 2 days.
Flight Sergeant Matthew Hillam (17), Sergeant Matthew Parkinson (17) and Sergeant Charles Little (16) took part in several training weekends, to get them used to road marching and working as a team, before undertaking the 2 day event. The cadets are now in training for the 4 day Nijmegen March in the Netherlands, in July.
Sergeant (ATC) Victoria Docherty, Goole Squadron Adventure Training Officer, said “This is the first time I can recall anyone from Goole taking part in this march. To have 3 cadets undergo the training and see it through to the end is great. Well done to them.”
Goole Squadron is one of many Squadrons around the country which are part of the Air Training Corps. a youth organisation open to anyone aged 13-17, or over 20 for staff. Air Cadets offers a wide range of activities to both its cadets and staff.
