Pudsey Poppy People

Several 2387 (Pudsey) Squadron air cadets this year launched the poppy appeal in the Pudsey and Farsley area as part of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh volunteering section. Cadets: Hamilton, Tolhurst, Connelly, Grey, Sanglay, Mulla, Wildman A, Wildman N, and Radcliffe helped the Royal British Legion taking over 3 months in planning, collecting, distributing and selling the poppies.

 
 
Jamie Peacock the Leeds Rhino rugby player and England captain visited the cadets while they were selling poppies and congratulated them on their hard work. The cadets also raised £5,700 for the Royal British Legion in sponsored events and bag packs.
